Cover reveal!! FRIGID by Jennifer L. Armentrout
For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.
Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.
But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.
Frigid will be available in digital formats on July 30th 2013
Print release of Frigid will be November 5th 2012

Oh gosh! I love this book! Renee is such an awesome chick. She's tough, smart, loyal, and can be very stubborn. She has to work extra hard to keep up with the training. Her dream is to become a Servant of Tildor and won't let anyone or anything get in her way. Commander Savoy is freaking awesome! He comes off as a tough guy, leader of the Seventh, but there is definitely a softer side to him. He pushed and trained Renee on his own time and I really like the chemistry they had. I know there are parts in this book where he treats her badly, but I think these two understands each other on a higher level. I hope that their relationship will develop more in the future. I think these two will be a pretty kickass couple. =D Savoy's little brother is so darn cute, he's one of my favorite character. What surprised me was the magic aspect in this story. It was actually pretty cool and integrated well into the story. Certain parts of story reminded me of Spartacus. The whole arena and warriors/slaves have to battle for their life. I love Spartacus so this definitely a plus for me.
I wish there was a little more romance in this story. There was no love triangle but there really wasn't much romance as well. We know Renee has developed some sort of feelings for Savoy, but how does he feel about her? Does he like her the way she likes him? It definitely left me wanting more from these two.
Alex Lidell was really descriptive in the world building in this book and in my mind it brought it to life. It was a fast paced book, but I couldn't get enough of it. I had really high expectations for this book and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This is a great fantasy book and I think those who are into fantasy books should definitely read this.

To all Karen Marie Moning Fans! Cover for BURNED is here!!!
Hey all! KMM just posted up a message on her facebook with the amazing cover for BURNED!!
KMM: Sunday is Saint Patrick’s Day which is always a day of celebration for me. Fifteen years ago, on March 17th, 1998 at 2:23 in the afternoon, I was at work when I got the call: Maggie Crawford with Bantam Dell had finished reading Beyond the Highland Mist and wanted to sign me to a two-book contract.
Life distilled to a moment of perfect happiness. I walked around in a bubble of joy for weeks. After I got off the phone, I read and re-read the salient points of the deal that I’d scribbled (on a lunch-stained paper towel because I’d been so shaky and nervous that I’d not been able to find a single sheet of paper on my paper-covered desk) trying to convince myself that it had really happened.
I’d sold a manuscript to a major publishing house; the eight-hundred pound gorilla, no less! Little did they know, I was so hungry to be a writer, I would have paid them to publish me.
For the curious: I got a $5,000.00 advance for BTHM. We don’t get into this business for the money up front. If we’re very lucky, we make some on the other end.
When I first began writing I taped a quote to the top of my computer screen so I’d see it every time I wrote.
"When you chase a dream the Universe conspires to help you get it."
Fifteen years later I still have it there.
Chase hard. Balls to the wall.
In the word's of Neil Gaiman's eternal footman: Death: "You got what anyone gets, Bernie. You got a lifetime."
Have a blessed and happy Saint Patty’s Day.
Fitting, today we post the cover for my fifteenth book!

Cover Reveal! THE LIBERATOR by Victoria Scott
Hey guys! I am super excited to share with you all the cover for THE LIBERATOR by Victoria Scott, the second book in the DANTE WALKER trilogy!
No blurb yet, but here's a message from Victoria
Hey guys! While I can't reveal many details yet, I will say this book was enormously emotional to write. More action, new characters, higher stakes, and a whole lot of sexy. I hope you enjoy reading the next chapter of Dante Walker's story!
By the way, Dante wants me to tell you..."Things only get darker from here, doll. Might want to hold my hand for this."
Release Date: September 3, 2013
Awesome cover right? =D
_______________________________________________________________________________
First book in the DANTE WALKER SERIES
Expected publication: April 2nd 2013 by Entangled Teen
He makes good girls...bad.
Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple: weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal-opportunity collector and doesn't want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within ten days.
Dante doesn't know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect, he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector…and uncover emotions deeply buried.
I’m a YA writer with a die-hard affection for dark and humorous books. My workis represented by the fabulous Laurie McLean of Larsen-Pomada literary agency. I have a master’s degree in marketing, and am a member of the Writers’ League of Texas and Teen Shiver.
My first YA book, THE COLLECTOR, will be published by Entangled Teen, April 2013. It is the first book in a trilogy. My second YA series will begin with THE BRIMSTONE BLEED and is being published by Scholastic in spring 2014.

Synopsis
Some
things are worth waiting for…
Traveling
thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old
Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years
ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to
her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place,
not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few
friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she
didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who
could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.
Some
things are worth experiencing…
Cameron
Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a
pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she
believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away
from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and
that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved
with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks
whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of
her she never knew existed.
Some
things should never be kept quiet…
But when
Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a
past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone
is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When
the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less
scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?
And
some things are worth fighting for…
WAIT FOR YOU is
available now!

Samantha Young never disappoints! Once I started, it was nonstop reading until I finished it. I'm just glad that when I got this series, all the books were already published. I thinking waiting for the next book would have driven me mad crazy. I seriously love her writing. The Warrior of Ankh Series is amazing. It was full of action, betrayals, heartbreaks, and romance. For those who loves a kick-ass heroine that stands up for herself, this is a must read for you. From the beginning of this book the very end, Eden goes through so much and right by her side is Noah. He's so awesome, definitely swoon worthy. I liked how it wasn't love at first sight for them. Their feelings started out as friendship and then slowly grew. I love the chemistry/attraction between the two of them. The emotions they both go through felt so real, so heartwarming and yet at certain times heartbreaking.
The characters were awesome whether they were good or bad. They each had their own role in the story that really built up the storyline. I wish we saw more of Stellan, Eden's older brother. He definitely stole my heart. I love how protective he was of Eden, and how much he held his inner souleater back because he wanted to be a better person for her. I wanted a happy ending for him, but it never came. Other characters I want to see more of and know more about was Val and Darius. Darius seems so badass and there's definitely something between him and Val. I want to know their story and hope *fingers cross* that Samantha will go back and write about them.
This series is a must read! It has a little of everything to keep you wanting to know what will happen next. The build up in the story was very well thought out, fast paced that will keep you on your toes. Each book got better and better and definitely more intense. This series will take you on an amazing journey that it will make you feel so much emotions. I hope that you'll take the chance and read this series because it will be one that you won't forget.

turn she would never have imagined. She’s gone from soul eater to
warrior, left behind a family she was ashamed of and moved in with one
she admires. She has a purpose, a future, and… she has Noah.

With an enemy in every corner, the problems before her are overwhelming. Then again, Eden hasn’t come this far to let anyone snatch her new life from her…
However, just when Eden thought she’d battled the monster within and won, the warrior who took something precious from her comes back into her life, tempting Eden to take a course of revenge there is no turning back from." (From Goodreads)

J.A. Souders was born in the heartland with an overactive
imagination and an overabundance of curiosity that was always getting her into
trouble. She first began writing at the age of 13, when she moved to Florida
and not only befriended the monsters under the bed, but created worlds for them
to play together.
Because she never grew up, she decided she’d put her
imaginary friends to work and started writing. She still lives in the land of
sunshine and palm trees with her husband and their two children.

Star-Crossed
Star-Crossed
From the Isle
of Skye to the battlefields of France, Duncan MacDonald has never
escaped the memory of the true love he left behind. Deemed unworthy of a
chieftain's daughter, Duncan abandoned the lovely Moira to prove his
worth in battle. Now, when called upon to rescue her from a rival clan,
one thing is certain: Moira's pull on his heart is stronger than ever.
Bartered away in marriage to a violent man, Moira will do anything to ensure she and her son survive. When a rugged warrior arrives to save her, the desperate beauty thinks her prayers have been answered—until she realizes it's Duncan. The man who once broke her heart is now her only hope. Moira vows never again to give herself—or reveal her secrets—to the fierce warrior, but as they race across the sea, danger and desire draw them ever closer." (From Goodreads)

Duncan MacDonald has fallen in love with his best friend's(Connor) sister, Moria, the chieftain's daughter...When the chieftain found out about their young love, he was furious and sent Duncan away with his son Connor and Connor's two cousin( Ian and Alex) to France to fight the English. Duncan doesn't want to go but being a bastard son, he felt he didn't deserve Moria's love. After being lied to by her father, Moria thought Duncan had abandoned her because he didn't want to marry her. When Duncan left for France, Moria found herself pregnant with Duncan's child and was quickly married off to another. Moria found herself married to an abusive and vicious man name Sean MacQuillan.
Years later, Duncan is asked to rescue her from the MacQuillans after the MacDonald's old seer, Tearlag, foreseen a vision of Moria in danger. The last person Moria wants to see is Duncan MacDonald, the man who took her heart and broke it. When Duncan shows up at the MacQuillans, Moria's heart still aches after many years. She thinks he doesn't deserve to know about the child and a second chance at her heart. As she is rescued by Duncan and taken away from MacQuillan on a long journey back home to MacDonald land, it shows that their love for one another has never faded...
I really love this series! It is one of the best historical romance series I've read...This book is action packed, heart-wrenching, and an emotional roller coaster ride. What I really love about this book is that after many years of being hurt, and not see each other for a long time, they really still love each other and that is what you call true love. There were a few times when Moria got on my nerves, but after seeing what she went through I can understand her reasons for her being the way she was to Duncan. Duncan is definitely one of my favorite highlanders from this series. I love how he is so determine to earn her love again and was willing to do anything for her. These two definitely deserved the happy ending and I am glad that in the end, Duncan was able to find it in himself that he is worthy of Moria and her love for him. Love this book and cannot wait to read Connor and Ilysa's story. =D
Waiting on Wednesday: Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin #2) by R.L. LaFevers
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week's WoW selection is...Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin #2) by R.L. LaFevers
Expected publication: April 2nd 2013 by Houghton Mifflin Books for Children
Sybella arrives at the convent’s doorstep half mad with grief and despair. Those that serve Death are only too happy to offer her refuge—but at a price. Naturally skilled in both the arts of death and seduction, the convent views Sybella as one of their most dangerous weapons.
But those assassin’s skills are little comfort when the convent returns her to a life that nearly drove her mad. Her father’s rage and brutality are terrifying, and her brother’s love is equally monstrous. And while Sybella is a weapon of justice wrought by the god of Death himself, He must give her a reason to live. When she discovers an unexpected ally imprisoned in the dungeons, will a daughter of Death find something other than vengeance to live for?
This heart-pounding sequel to Grave Mercy serves betrayal, treachery, and danger in equal measure, bringing readers back to fifteenth century Brittany and will keep them on the edge of their seats. (From Goodreads)

I cannot wait until this book comes out! From some of the reviews I've read, Dark Triumph already sounds amazing! I loved the first book to this series, Grave Mercy (click on the title to see my review), it was also the reason why I started blogging. After reading it, I couldn't get it out of my head and had to blog so I could rant about it. Grave Mercy is one of my all time favorite reads and definitely cannot wait to read the second installment! =D

Review: Borrowed Ember (Fire Spirits #3) by Samantha Young
Borrowed Ember (Fire Spirits #3)
Author: Samantha Young
" Everything in Ari’s life until this point has been borrowed.
Her human life with a man who wasn't her real father.
A love for a boy who needed more than her to be strong.
Kisses with a Jinn who refused to do anything but lend them out in moments of weakness.
And even her resolve, which seemed to fail her whenever she needed it most.
But Ari is done borrowing. She finally feels strong enough to make hunting Jinn not just a hobby to get her through her dismal situation, but to make hunting a permanent and necessary career. Her friendship with Charlie might finally make it onto real and steady ground if only she can save him from the trial on Mount Qaf. And her love for Jai could be eternal, if only she could gain control over the darkness of the Seal within her.
Ari believes all of this is doable. That finally she will truly own the relationships in her life and to a certain extent have ownership over her future.
But none of that matters when it isn't up to her…
…For high in the emerald mountains of Mount Qaf, the Sultan Azazil has been keeping secrets.
Even from the Jinn Kings.
Secrets that will change everything… and bring Ari to the crashing realization that once again…
… she’s borrowed something that will never truly belong to her.
Something that is desperate to be unleashed.
Something that could destroy them all." (From Goodreads)

I LOVED every part of it, except some parts with Charlie...and I swear! Each book is getting better and better, darker and more intense than the last book! This is the third book in the Fire Spirits series and definitely the best one so far. In this book we find Ari going to Mount Qaf to support her friend Charlie because he's on trial for murdering a half-blood Jinn and also the son of The Gleaming King. While at court, Ari's secret was exposed by The White King and now her life might be in more danger. She has also caught the attention of Asmodeus, the first Lieutenant to Sultan Azazil, and a deadly force to be reckoned with. Ari and Jai's relationship has gotten a lot better but in this book, their relationship and love for one another is being tested constantly at every turn. There are so many surprises, shocks, and twists and turns at every page that will keep you reading to find out what's going to happen next...LOVED LOVED LOVED this book and cannot wait to read Darkness Kindled which comes out on April 23rd. Samantha Young, you are AWESOME!!! =D
